Danelle is passionate about helping people build their financial “house.” Do you remember drawing a house as a kid with a tree in the front yard? Four walls and a roof are a key symbol of human life and must be built with intention and imagination. So it is with building a financial house. What a privilege to live in a time and a country where the financial house you build now can provide for you and your loved ones and community when you’re gone. Developing a relationship with a tax professional is a key step in planning your economic life in all its seasons. Because it’s not how much you make but how much you keep!
Danelle looks to work with clients who are intentional about building and/or sustaining legacies of financial prosperity. Along with 11 years of corporate accounting experience, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has Circular 230 authority and judgement to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent.
In addition to her for-profit focus, she believes that not for profit organizations provide a vital function in society by providing charitable opportunities for individual and corporations to invest in their communities, locally and globally. She comes from a family (parents and grandparents) that spent many years in Africa (DRC) providing spiritual training and infrastructure management. Her grandfather, a surgeon in Brunswick Maine, built the hospital of her birth. Along with serving non-profits in the Seattle metro area with accounting and tax services, EdgeWorks gives dollars and/or hours to Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement of America, and Dress for Success.
Danelle has been married to her husband David for 16 years and has two sons. She is a member of Kirkland Choral Society and enjoys all things equine, hiking with her family, and strength training.
